Do you offer wholesale pricing?

JYK Cakes offers competitive pricing on a wide range of essential cake decorating products we carry. Bulk pricing is offered on many products such as cake drums, boards, boxes, fondant and cake dummies which can be found on our website under each individual product when available. Commercial accounts are available to businesses with commercial business address who wish to purchase at wholesale prices. Please Contact Us for more information should you wish to open a commercial account.

Do you offer FREE Shipping?

JYK Cakes offers free shipping on Cake Supplies orders over $100.00* CAD (Before Tax) anywhere in Canada (Some exceptions apply).  Free shipping cannot be combined with any discount or coupon code. JYK Cakes reserves the right to choose the shipping carrier and type of service. Free Shipping does not apply to overnight, Priority and same-day shipping services. Depending on your location, delivery can take between 2 to 6 business days from the date the order is shipped. Orders received before 11 AM EST Mondays to Fridays may be shipped the same day. 

Free shipping orders may  take 1 to 2 business days to process.

Free Shipping Orders EXCLUDED Items -  Foam Dummies, Fondant & Cake Boards. If you order any of these items we will send you a separate link to pay for shipping. 

Delivery location exclusions:

Free Shipping delivery location EXCLUSIONS are; NWT, Yukon & Nunavut

Note: Shipping to areas where  the shipping charges are extremely high, we may ask the customer to pay additional charges on top of the flat rate. In these cases, you will be contact prior to shipping your order.

Due to extremely high shipping costs, residents that fall under the P0L postal code are required to pay full shipping fees for ALL Orders.

How do I know my shipping cost?

All shipping costs are automatically calculated during the process of your order. Shipping is calculated by the size & weight of your order as well as your location.

In order to receive accurate shipping calculations, please be sure to provide us with a complete shipping address when you register your account.

We offer multiple shipping methods for you to receive your orders: Flat Rate, Standard, Ground and Express. JYK Cakes will choose the best method for your shipping quote from the following carriers: Canada Post, FedEx, Purolator & UPS. We also offer FREE In-store Pick-up at our Barrie location.

JYK Cakes reserves the right to change courier, carriers or service.

Large orders (typically over 300lbs) to commercial business addresses may be delivered on pallets by local carriers. A loading dock is typically required when pallets are delivered by local carriers. If  a loading dock is not available, additional off-loading charges will apply. These off-loading charges are the responsibility of the customer.

How much is flat rate shipping?

JYK Cakes offers flat rate shipping anywhere in Ontario for $9.64 CAD to a maximum weight of 1.3KG  and $12.99 CAD all other provinces except NWT, Yukon & Nunavut (Maximum weight 1.3KG).

Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?

No we do not ship to PO Boxes.

How fast will I get my order?

All orders placed before order cut off (11:00 am EST) will be processed NEXT BUSINESS DAY* (*EXCLUDING Free Shipping orders).

We offer various methods of shipping to suit your needs. Your order will be shipped out according to the method of shipping you have chosen during the time of ordering. We offer everything from same day courier* to overnight to standard shipping.

How do I track my package?

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification providing you with the tracking information (if available) for your order. Please note: Tracking numbers  can take up to 24 hours for  information to update within the carriers’ system. With this number you can track your package & know when it will arrive.

Is my payment information safe?

Absolutely! Our website is secured with a SSL encryption and we never receive your credit card information directly. We also offer the security of paying via PayPal or e-transfer should you wish.

I haven't received my order?

We try to ship all orders within 1 business day from the time of payment. Orders placed on a weekends or holidays, will be shipped on the next business day. Please allow a minimum of 4 business days after your order is scheduled to arrive before notifying JYK Cakes - Please Contact Us.

Please note: Customer are responsible to ensure that address and contact information are correct prior to completing their orders. An Incorrect address and or contact information will lead to processing and shipping delay and possible surcharges.

Can I Insure My Order?

Shipping insurance is included to a maximum of $100.00 CAD with your order. Additional shipping insurance can be purchased, at the customers expense. Please inform the sales staff in the comments area of your order to be sure a shipping insurance quotation is provided for your approval prior to your order being shipped.

I forgot to order something. Can I Add To My Order?

Yes it's possible to add items to an existing order provided the order has not yet been shipped. If you need to add an item or items to an existing order, please contact us either by replying to the automated order processing email you receive when your order was placed or Contact Us to see if your order has already been processed & shipped. If it has not been processed, you can place another order online and add a note in the comment box to add to your existing order. Please include your ORIGINAL order confirmation number to help us locate your original order. Both orders will be combined and shipped together. Any shipping cost differences will be refunded to your original method of payment within 3-5 business days.

How can I cancel my order?

All orders are processed within 24hrs after we receive them. Except orders placed on weekends or holidays. If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us either by replying to the automated order processing email you received when your order was placed or Contact Us as soon as possible in order to stop the order from being processed and shipped. Although we will do our best to ensure your cancellation request is processed, we cannot guarantee that we will catch them in time prior to your order being shipped.

What if an item is out of stock?

All Out Of Stock items will be back ordered when possible. If you wish to cancel back ordered items, please notify us immediately. If we processed your order and noticed an out of stock items that wasn't indicated on our website, we will contact you regarding the status of your order. Back orders usually takes 2-4 weeks to arrive.

If an item has become discontinued or permanently out of stock, you will be notified via email and the appropriate fees will be refunded to your account.

What is your return policy?

At JYK Cakes, we want all our customers to be happy with their purchases – if you change your mind about your purchase and wish to return it, we have a 15 day return policy. JYK Cakes will process a refund or exchange (for both in-store & on-line purchases) provided that:

You return the item within 15 days of purchase
You provide Proof of Purchase (in-store sales receipt or on-line email receipt)
The item must be in New Condition, in Original Packaging, Unopened, Unused Original condition.
The item was originally purchased at JYK Cake
