At JYK Cakes, we want all our customers to be happy with their purchases – if you change your mind about your purchase and wish to return it, we have a 15 day return policy. JYK Cakes will process a refund or exchange (for both in-store & on-line purchases) provided that:
You return the item within 15 days of purchase
You provide Proof of Purchase (in-store sales receipt or on-line email receipt)
The item must be in New Condition, in Original Packaging, Unopened, Unused Original condition.
The item was originally purchased at JYK Cakes.
The item is not from our Exclusions list.
Please note that all returns, refunds or exchanges must be done within 15 days & with the original purchase receipt. If you do not have the receipt or if the return is outside of 15 days, JYK Cakes may, in its sole discretion, provide you only with the current value of the item on a Gift Card.
NOTE: The original payment method must be present to receive a refund, otherwise a gift card will be issued. Cash refunds will NOT be issued.

Online Items Return
The quickest and easiest way to return a product that was purchased online is to contact JYK Cakes with your order number & the reason for your return and someone will get back to you with the details for return. Alternatively you can call reach the order department via email email@example.com If you received damaged or incorrect items, please send along pictures of the damaged items as well as the damaged shipping boxes to firstname.lastname@example.org Someone from out Orders Department will contact you and provide you with a Return ID #. Your Return ID # must be clearly marked on the outside of the box when returning item or items for refund or exchange.
NOTE: Our Returns Department cannot process returns without a Return ID #.
Unfortunately we cannot accept returns 15 days after a Return ID # number has been issued.
Please ensure to ship all return packages with adequate insurance for the value of the contents. If items are damaged or packages get lost in the mail during return, JYK Cakes will not assume responsibility. You (the customer) are responsible for return shipping charges. Please ensure to enclose a copy of the sales receipt issued by JYK Cakes with your returned merchandise.
Once we receive the returned item(s) from you, a credit will be issued to your account for the full amount of the item(s) less 20% restocking fee and any shipping charges. Please allow 7-10 business days for us to process a credit to your account. Please note depending upon the credit card company, your credit may not show on your account until the following billing cycle.

Wrong item received
If you received an item in error, please email us at email@example.com within 5 days of receiving your package and we will correct our error. PLEASE do not ship the item back before receiving a Return ID #.
JYK Cakes package all orders with great care. However, sometimes damages occurs due to circumstances beyond our control. We advise that customers notify us promptly in order to serve you better. If you do receive a damaged/defective item, we will replace the damaged/defective item(s) at no additional charge or refund your money upon receipt of the damaged/defective item(s).
If you received damaged items: Please save the original shipping box! It needs to be inspected by the carrier for insurance claim. Claims cannot be made for damaged goods if the box(S) are discarded. Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org to report damaged goods within 2 days of receipt of product. A Returned ID # will be given to you and Canada Post or UPS will pick up your package within 3-7 business days. A refund will be issued to you on your credit card when we receive the damaged goods providing all conditions of our return policy are met or we can ship out a replacement item.
Orders refuse by customer
Any order sent to a customer that is refused will be charged the shipping costs plus a restocking fee of 20%.
Wrong shipping address
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all address and contact information is correct prior to completing their order. Incorrect addresses and or contact information can lead to processing and shipping delay and possible surcharges.
If your order is returned to us due to an incorrect address given by you (the customer) at the time of ordering, we will re-ship the order at your own expense. If you (the customer) choose not to have the order re-shipped, you will be charged a 20% restocking fee plus the original shipping charges.
