Royal Icing Recipe:
Method: Whip all ingredients until peaks form (7-10 mins at low speed with a heavy-duty mixer, or 10-12 mins at high speed with a hand-held mixer).
Note: Ensure utensils are grease-free for the right consistency. For thicker icing, reduce water by 1 tbsp. For large mixers or stiffer icing, reduce water by 1 tbsp.
To thin for pouring, add 1 tsp water per cup of icing. Gradually stir with a grease-free spoon or spatula, adding 1/2 tsp water at a time until desired consistency is reached.
