Free Shipping on orders over $100* with maximum weight under 12kg *Some CONDITIONS may apply.
Note: Heavy items above 12kg does not qualify for Free Shipping or JYK Flat Shipping.
Qualified orders under $100 may be shipped for $20 via JYK Flat Shipping.
We reserve the right to choose the shipping carrier and type of service. Free Shipping does not apply to overnight, priority and same-day shipping services. Depending on your location, delivery can take between 2 to 6 business days from the date the order is shipped. Orders received before 11 AM (GMT-05:00) Eastern Standard Time (Toronto, Time) Mondays to Fridays may be shipped the same day.
Free shipping orders may take 1 to 2 business days to process. There are no extra handling fees.
Note: Shipping to areas where the shipping charges are extremely high, we may ask the customer to pay additional charges on top of the shipping rate. In these cases, you will be contact prior to shipping your order.
Due to extremely high shipping costs, residents that fall under the P0L postal code are required to pay full shipping fees for ALL Orders.

UPS Ground, 2nd Day and Next Day air do not deliver to PO boxes. Please provide your physical delivery address.
Coupon usage related to Shipping?
We may offer free or discounted shipping as promotional incentives to our customers periodically No shipping coupon may be used multiple times on a single order or in conjunction with another discount. JYK Cakes reserves the right to refuse orders because of typographical errors or omissions. Shipping coupons cannot be used on orders that are picked up from our warehouse.
Orders returned to us due to Incorrect Address: Incomplete Address, Customer Not Home, or order refused by customer?
If your order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, an incomplete address, the customer was not home to receive the order after three delivery attempts or the order was simply refused, we will re-ship the order with the customers permission and at the customers’ expense. If the customer chooses not to have the order re-shipped, there will be a 20% re-stocking charge plus the original shipping cost TO the customer and the cost to return the package to the JYK Cakes.
Orders refuse by customer
Any order refused by recipient on delivery will be subject to a restocking fee of 20%.
Buyer is responsible for paying all tariffs, duties, and taxes.
When will my order be ready?
Orders place online will have the convenient option at checkout to choose “In-Person PICK-UP “. If your items are in stock. We will notify you by email once your order is Ready For Pick-Up (please allow at least 1 – 2 hours for your order to be process and Ready For PICK-UP). Please note Pick-Up hours on your confirmation email. We are closed on Statutory Holidays.
What if I no longer want to pick up in In-Person but want to have goods shipped to me?
Unfortunately, once you’ve placed your order, there is no way to switch to shipping. However, you can choose to cancel the order and place a new order to be shipped to you instead.
Can I place my order over the phone or via email?
No. Customers must place all orders on jykcakes.com in order to maintain privacy and adhere to data security rules. This also allows us to accurately track the order status and provide any support for billing, refunds or exchanges as needed.
What if I’m not able to pick up my order when it’s ready?
No problem. Come in as soon as you’re able within our schedule pick-up hours provided to you, and our staff will be happy to assist you.
Be mindful that if your order isn’t picked up after 7 days, it will be automatically cancelled and refunded.
How long will the stores hold my order?
Since we have limited space to store these orders, we’ll do our best to accommodate a hold period of up to 7 days. You’ll be alerted through reminder emails that your item is ready, but if your order is not picked up after 7 days, it will be automatically cancelled and refunded.
Can I pay upon pick-up?
No, we don’t accept any payment at the time of pick-up. When you place your order, you’ll provide your payment card information, and it will be charged automatically once the item is ready for you to pick up.
Wrong shipping address
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all address and contact information is correct prior to completing their order. Incorrect addresses and or contact information can lead to processing and shipping delay and possible surcharges.
If your order is returned to us due to an incorrect address given by you (the customer) at the time of ordering, we will re-ship the order at your own expense. If you (the customer) choose not to have the order re-shipped, you will be charged a 20% restocking fee plus the original shipping charges.
Does my package require a signature to be delivered?
Canada post/UPS/USPS Signature Required/Returned Packages
If your order is returned to us by any carrier due to the inability to deliver, we will credit your account for the merchandise but we do not refund the shipping. If you choose UPS shipping, UPS will make three attempts to deliver your package. We DO NOT require a signature but the UPS driver can override that decision and require a signature if they feel there is no secure area to leave the package. On the first and second attempt, they will leave a note with instructions for you to call and make alternate delivery arrangements. After the third attempt, UPS ships the order back to us.
USPS Priority Mail carriers also have the ability to require a signature. If the package is not picked up at the local post office, it will be shipped back to us.
Has my order shipped?
If you place your order by 1:00 PM EST, we generally ship the same day or the next business day on very busy days. Same day shipping is not guaranteed unless you choose Canada Post Next Day (Express) or Canada Post Second Day Air and place your order before 1:00 PM, EST. If your order is placed late Friday or on the weekend, it will not ship until Monday OR Tuesday. You will receive an email with a tracking number once the order is shipped. You must wait 24 hours for UPS to have the tracking information on their website. The package cannot be tracked on the first day.
I don’t see the shipping charges in my cart?
Since Canada Post shipping charges are based on the weight of the package and your Postal Code, you must be logged in or registered to see your shipping charges. Shipping charges will show on the checkout page.
Also- If you are ordering from within Canada and you do not see a shipping amount, it may be that your shopping cart exceeds the weight UPS or Canada Post can automatically calculate.
